Eight performances of this fast-paced, endearing show will take place August 6-7 & 10-14 at 7:30 p.m., and August 8 at 2:00 p.m. at PBT, 800 Rocky Hill Road, Plymouth, Ma. Centering on six awkward adolescents competing in their local spelling bee championship, the contestants capture their audience with tales of humor, heartache and formidable determination. Over- (and under) achievers alike, each speller has their moment to shine, sing and dance their way to the top. At each show, a few lucky audience members also get a chance to try their skill in the competition, adding a unique and humorous twist every time. Priscilla Beach Theatre’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee runs August 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 at 7:30 p.m., and August 8 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $32 adults/$29 Seniors (65+) and available online at www.PBTheatre.org or by calling the box office at 508-224-4888.
