Join Kendal at Home and the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage for a virtual docent-led tour of Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the first-ever retrospective about the trailblazing associate justice and cultural icon, based on the popular Tumblr and bestselling book of the same name by journalist Irin Carmon and attorney Shana Knizhnik. Exploring the American judicial system through the lens of one of its sharpest legal minds, the exhibition takes an entertaining yet rigorous look at Justice Ginsburg's life and work—in particular the efforts she joined to protect civil rights and expand equal opportunity for all Americans. Through archival photographs and documents, historical artifacts, contemporary art, media stations, and gallery interactives, the exhibition spans RBG's varied roles as student, life partner, mother, lawyer, judge, women's rights pioneer, and Internet phenomenon. The Mission of the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is to introduce visitors to the beauty and diversity of that heritage in the context of the American experience. It promotes an understanding of Jewish history, religion, and culture and builds bridges of tolerance and understanding with those of other religions, races, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds, serving as an educational resource for Northeast Ohio's diverse communities. The Maltz Museum is a lively community space that attracts students, adults, and groups from the community and around the country. Devoted to diversity and tolerance, it opened in 2005 with a simple mission: to build bridges of tolerance and understanding by sharing Jewish heritage through the lens of the American experience. The stories of individuals and families - past and present - come to life through state-of-the-art exhibitions, interactives and films, oral histories, photographs, and artifacts. The Museum includes The Temple-Tifereth Israel Gallery - an internationally recognized collection of Judaica - and a special exhibition galler
